Warm Angels Home Care Agency provides customised personal care services for seniors to remain independent in the comfort of your home. Our caregivers help seniors and older adults with non-medical personal care activities of daily living that include skin care, shaving, mouth care, assistance with bathing and nail care. Personal Care services are available on an hourly or a live-in basis. We are the experts when it comes to 24-hour live-in care. We mastered the art of making it possible for seniors to maintain their independence and age in the comforts of home instead of moving to an assisted-living facility — even if they have a physical disability or chronic health condition. If your senior is beginning to show signs of struggling with everyday tasks, be rest assured that our well-trained caregivers will provide high quality, safe and comfortable personal care services to support their unique needs as well as reduce senior isolation risk. We are well capacitated to provide personal care services to all seniors including those with chronic health conditions or physical disabilities. Our personal care services include the following:

Bathing

Our caregivers assist seniors who are unable to be bathed in a tub or shower only when the following requirements are met:

The home services worker shall have been trained in the particular methods required by the client to perform a bed bath;
The client or client’s representative shall be able to participate in or direct the bathing process and provide ongoing feedback to the home services worker; and
The agency shall have conducted a competency evaluation of the home services worker’s ability to employ the methods required to perform a bed bath.

Mouth Care

We assist seniors with performing mouth care. This may include denture care and basic oral hygiene, including oral suctioning for mouth care.

Skin Care

We offer preventative general skin care. When skin is unbroken without any chronic skin problems, the service may include the application of non-medicated lotions and solutions that do not require a physician’s prescription.

Hair Care

With our hair care services, we assist with the maintenance and appearance of seniors’ hair. Hair care within includes shampooing with non-medicated shampoo or shampoo that does not require a physician’s prescription, drying, combing and hair styling.

Nail Care

Our nail care services include soaking of nails, pushing back cuticles without utensils, and filing nails. We do not offer nail trimming services.

Shaving

We assist clients with shaving only with an electric or a safety razor.
